Bob was a quiet, seemingly mild-mannered man with a wicked sense of humor and rapier wit. He was a dedicated Texas Rangers fan, and a reader of war histories, mysteries and biographies of great leaders. He loved his work and his co-workers.
He is survived by his sisters Karen Steele and Pamela Dountas Brother-in-law Chip Whitten of Houston and Sister-in-law Donna Woods of Denver, along with many friends and co-workers. His “other” family was the police and first responders he worked with over the years. He was preceded in death by wife Suzie B. Steele, and his parents Richard and Colleen Steele.
