Words can't describe the feelings of sadness at the loss of my great and close friend , Mel. What a wonderful man in every aspect; Christian, community leader and activist, volunteer, helper, security guard, traffic control, coffee maker. What ever you needed, if you needed it and asked or didn't ask, Mel was always there to give it. What a wonder friend every citizen in and out of Winnsboro had in Mel. Gosh, you will be missed and have already left a hole in so many hearts. We know where you are now though. Mel, please save us a seat at the Lord's Table. Heaven is a little better off with you there, because we all know you are still serving.
