Obituary for Joe Wilson Wann

Joe Wann, age 86 of Winnsboro, passed away on Monday, November 12th, 2018 in Marshall, Texas. He was born on September 23rd, 1932 in Crosbyton, Texas to the late Wilson and Georgia Wann. Joe was a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University and a retired federal employee, serving as a member of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association. He was also a member of First Baptist Church in Winnsboro, where he resided since 1992. Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Wann. He is survived by his son, Delbert Wann of Winnsboro; daughter, Theresa Muller of Winnsboro; granddaughter, Elizabeth Muller; his special friend, Juanita and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at First Baptist Church 200 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494 at 11:00 am, with Dr. David Rose conducting. In lieu of flowers the family ask that you make donations to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 200 W. Broadway St., Winnsboro, Texas 75494 and to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
