Vera Wurtz-Hardin (Johnson)
Vera Wurtz Hardin passed away on May 30th at age 92 in the home of her daughter
and son-in-law, Dana and Gary Penney.
Vera Mae Johnson was born on July 2, 1925 in Parks Camps Park, Texas. She is survived
by a sister, Norma Hargis, of Burnet. She was preceded in death by her son, Bill Williams.
She is also survived by her daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, five grandchildren, thirteen
greats, and one great grand son.
She was a resident of Corpus Christi for 50+ years and moved to east Texas to live near her
daughter for the last years of her life. Vera was a long time member of First Baptist Church,
