Obituary for Bradley Holden

Bradley Holden
A memorial service for Bradley Miles Holden will be held Wednesday, February 8th at Beaty Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Brad was born on January 11, 1990 at Crow Agency, Montana on the Crow Indian Reservation and spent his early years on, or near, Indian reservations where his father worked. He spent many wonderful trips to see his mother’s large family in Costa Rica; laughing and playing with all his cousins, getting abrasos (hugs) from his aunts and uncles. Brad loved to compose music, watch science fiction / fantasy movies, cook meals for the family and read books on philosophical subjects incomprehensible to his parents. At age 15 he prayed the salvation prayer and was baptized at Spring Valley Baptist Church in Lawton, Oklahoma. He graduated with honors from WestMoore High School in Oklahoma City, later attending Oklahoma University for 3 years. He majored in Astrophysics with a minor in Arabic. He was engaged to be married to a beautiful girl he met in Malang, Indonesia named Cecilia. Last week he moved to Mineola to live with his parents and was excited to be hired for a cooking position here in Mineola. Complications with the medicine he was taking to sleep took his life. We miss him dearly. He is resting in God’s arms now.
Brad was preceded in death by his grandfather Laureano Romero Cordero. He is survived by his father, Robin Miles Holden; mother, Floribel Romero Holden; sister Nancy Marie Holden, grandparents Miles and Edna Holden and Luz Mery Mendez.
