Obituary for Charles D. "Max" Mallicote

Charles D. "Max" Mallicote

Max went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2018. He was born to Ora and Everett Mallicote on January 8, 1934 in Gainesville, TX.

He is proceeded in death by his first wife Shirley Brown Mallicote, parents Ora and Everett Mallicote, brother Kenneth Mallicote and two sisters Ann Hutchison and Carolyn Sue Mallicote.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Mallicote, sister Jane Alexander, daughter Melody Lundquist and husband Vern; son John Mallicote and wife Stephanie; stepdaughter Rebecca Decker and husband Dwain; stepson Michael Loftin and wife Dianne; eight grandchildren, Sam Lundquist; Max Lundquist, Weylin Mallicote, Zane Mallicote, Krystal Landers and husband Trey, Brittany Grimm and husband Casey, Courtney Grissom and Trevor Loftin and three great grandchildren, Riley, Reagan and Rigley Landers and many nieces and nephews.

Max served in the US Army and the Army National Guard of Texas. He joined the City of University Park Police Department in November of 1957 where he served for 41 years retiring as a Lieutenant in 1998. While serving in the UPPD he was honored to graduate from the 91st Session of the FBI Academy in Quantico, Va.

Max was a man of strong Christian faith and served as an Elder at Northgate Church of Christ in Irving TX and at White Rock Church of Christ in Dallas TX before becoming a member at Broad Street Church of Christ in Mineola TX.
Max will be greatly missed by family and friends.
